"Ferrari 166 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta

166 MM / 53 Chassis: 0346/M

This is the last 166 MM built and the only one to be bodied by Pinin Farina.

The car had a total restoration at DK Engineering during 2004, and was completed in December 2004.

The condition of the car was generally poor but very original in all body and mechanical aspects. The chassis was in really excellent condition - most importantly the car was absolutely complete. This must be one of the last unrestored early competition Ferraris to be discovered.

The car has been restored to its original body configuration and painted in the original colours of blue and silver.

The pictures below show the car as it was found in the United States. Also the pictures show the car as it arrived in our workshop, showing the car, the engine and all of the parts which are with the car laid out on the ground. We can also see the car as it was when it left the factory.

c'est fou qu'il puisse encore exister des Ferrari aussi extraordinaires oubliées. Il y a vingt ou trente ans il y en avait pas mal en train de pourrir au fond des jardins mais avec l'envolée des prix de la fin des années 80 certains ont fait pas mal d'argent avec !!! peur etre qu'il en reste d'autres. Ce qui est extraordinaire je crois c'est que tout était en place.
